Here at String Theory Needlearts, we do things a little different for Nashville Market pre-orders. "Divide and conquer" will only get us so far once we arrive, so WE NEED YOUR HELP if we're going to get through FOUR STORIES of a hotel over the course of barely 48 hours.
While String Theory Needlearts is on an extensive array of vendor's mailing lists, it's statistically impossible for us to be on every mailing list for every designer, let alone publish every lilting whispers of a product release in our catalog.
YOU obviously know what designers you absolutely adore better than we would. And the majority of YOU are most likely already following them on social media or are a member of their mailing list, etc. And WE don't want you to miss out on anything you might want from Market simply because WE can't be tapped into every designer ever, all at once, everywhere, all of the time. So, instead of using the 'crystal ball' method to determine what the masses may or may not want to purchase from this year's market, our Market methodology is a bit more of a group participation effort.
That's where you, dear stitcher, can contribute.
BEFORE/LEADING UP TO MARKET: If you discover a Nashville release via your own inbox or during your online wanderings and would like to purchase it, simply place an order using our free pre-order widget, and include the product details in the comments of your order.
Example: If you've found 3 charts by a bunch of designers, simply "buy" QTY:3 pre-orders and then list which designers and their corresponding charts you'd like us to pick up for you in the comments when you checkout. The quantity will help us reconcile that we've picked up everything you wanted. "Ok, Jane Doe purchased 3 pre-orders, listing Charts A, B and C by designers X, Y and Z....and we have Charts A, B, and C for her, by designers X, Y, and Z. Good! Done with that one! NEXT!"
This will give us an actual shopping list to work from, as opposed to aimlessly wandering from floor to floor, and hoping that what WE like is what YOU like. Plus, don't forget that there are some special limited editions being released that are ONLY available to attendees. If you want one, you WILL want to submit a pre-order for it, so we know to get in THAT line first.
AFTER WE RETURN FROM MARKET: Purchasing the pre-order placeholder will not incur any immediate cost to you. Payment for your goodies comes later, and here's how: Just like any other order, you'll receive a status update, stating that your pre-order has 'shipped' (aka closed) and your pre-ordered product is available on our website. Included in that notification will be a link to your customized product(s), which you can then go and purchase like normal.
Please keep in mind that we will be maintaining a list of those who've placed pre-orders and those who have not. DEADLINE FOR 2020 NASHVILLE MARKET PRE-ORDERS IS 9AM EASTERN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4th!! At that point, the pre-order placeholder will vanish and you'll have to wait until the new Nashville releases hit general distribution to the public, usually a month or more after Market.
