The Clearance items, in addition to Fabric & Fibers Clearance, are in their own categories by default - you'll have to browse those independently, as those items WILL NOT be displayed in the Specials listing.
The STASH code is only to receive an extra discount for Clearance items, otherwise no coupon code is necessary!
FYI, putting an item in your cart won't magically "reserve" anything - you have to actually complete the transaction of buying it.
Please be aware that each product displays "units in stock", and disabling the discount on an item is a manual process.
